Our Regular Programme

Our courses are open to staff and volunteers in the Voluntary and Community Sector of North Kent (Dartford, Gravesend, Swanley, Medway, Swale including Sheppey and Faversham), through working with our partner CVSs in Swale and North West Kent.

These form our standard programme funded by the Big Lottery Fund.

You may apply to participate in any of the courses in the current programme regardless of your location within North Kent or the location in which they are being delivered.

Prices may occassionally vary according to type of course

Please contact us for further information on our training courses and how you can apply.

Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities

Some of our courses this year are being funded by the Learning and Skills Council.

These courses are specifically aimed at people aged 19 and over, who are unemployed, in low skilled/low paid jobs, particularly lone parents, disabled and anyone deemed to be disadvantaged in being able to gain paid employment. (You must be eligible to work in this country and resident for 3 years in the UK)

Volunteers within the Voluntary and Community Sector are also eligible.

Priority must be given to these groups for this training.

These courses are FREE if you fall into a priority group.

Anyone else interested in the course can be put on a reserve list.

(Please note you may be asked to provide proof of unemployment eg JSA documentation)

Regretably we cannot afford to provide lunches for delegates so please remember to bring a packed lunch.

(Occassionally on some events, lunch is sponsored by another organsiation).
